HIGH VALLEY ROAD!!!!!
High Valley Road is extremely dangerous. Yesterday, about a mile up from the Miller residence, a truck lost its trailer. The tow truck then slid off the road trying to pull the trailer out. Some local residents in an effort to help, found themselves in harms way, one wrecking his pickup. The vehicles are still there. It is very icy!! The Sheriff's Department went up about 7:00PM to determine if the road should be closed. Throughout the night, with snow and wind, the road conditions probably have only worsened. I will try and have more information this morning or if you have information please call the Inn, 584-3737. Please be very careful!!!

LADIES CLUB THIS SATURDAY 10:00AM
Ladies Club will be held this Saturday at 10:00AM. The Ola Ladies will start out at the Hall, then those that would like are traveling over to Fruitland to the Smithsonian "Journey Stories" exhibition. Following the exhibit they will be lunching at the Chinese restaurant. This promises to be a fun and interesting day. Everyone and their spouses are welcomed.
JOURNEY STORIES
Journey Stories is a compelling Smithsonian exhibition that shows how our evolving mobility changed a young nation and how transportation made us grow. The accounts of travelers themselves express the hopes and promises of fresh starts, the grim realities of forced migrations and difficult journeys, and thrills of personal travel.

JUST A NOTE FROM ME....
...as most of you know, Marvin and I had quite a scare about a month ago. Although nothing would have stopped us from getting him the best care available, as quickly as possible, we did feel better knowing that when he had to be airlifted to Boise, we were members of Air St. Luke's. Please look into becoming a member, Marvin and I never really thought we'd be using our membership but we did. Here is the link, look into it for you and your family.

WELCOME TO THIS YEAR'S HAUNTED HALL..
The Trick or Treaters came out in large numbers. Attendance this year was the best so far. We had Spiderman, princesses, cowboys, a jellyfish, a clown and so many more creative costumes. Some of the Trick or Treaters even decided to be part of the Haunted Hall and scare the new ones going through. That was a lot of fun and created many laughs. Many thanks to the ladies that worked so hard to create this year's Haunted Hall.
