FILL DIRT AND TOP SOIL.....
The school district is wondering if anyone has a need for the fill dirt they are taking from the school, and also if anyone has any topsoil they could haul in to the school. It would save trucking costs quite a bit for the district to do it locally. If so, they can contact Tom Carlsen at 365-6301.

AN AFTERNOON AT THE EMMETT CHERRY FESTIVAL
Joyce, Sharon, Alan, Wanda, Norma and I had a very nice afternoon at the Emmett Cherry Festival. Norma and I enjoyed the Paella from the Triangle Inn's booth. Joyce and Sharon had Indian Tacos that they said were delicious. Before we left the festival, Norma and I stopped back by the Triangle booth and each had a frozen chocolate cherry cheesecake bar. Wonderful!! Abby performed with her dance group at 3:00PM. Those girls were so cute. They are all dressed in yellow because they are "ducks" from the story book, Charlotte's Web. Gary Rau has a booth this year. He is selling his beautiful glass plates, candle holders and pendants. Stop by and see him!

SOME OF THE DAMAGE FROM LAST NIGHT'S WINDS
Lots of us are cleaning up after the storm. Power came back on about 11 last night. Lots of tree limbs, some trees down, small out buildings damaged and gardens beaten to death. Oh and a portapotty blown over. Spring in Ola!
I received word that Chuck and Katrina's roof on their house blew off and Dave and Katie's new hay barn was flattened by the storm last night. Katie said it also took out part of their fence.
