A PERSONAL NOTE
It was very nice to see so many people from our Ola community last night at Bunco. So many lives in our little community have been effected by cancer, it was good to have the support for this important cause.

WHAT A FUN NIGHT!!!
Saturday night, the Ola Rough Striders/Relay For Life hosted Bunco night, benefiting the American Cancer Society. The event was well attended and everyone had a great time. The evening started out with pie and ice cream followed by the fun, exciting game of Bunco. Many, many thanks for those that came out to support the Ola Rough Striders.

Delta Dental of Idaho is offering a great opportunity for residents of our district who meet certain qualifications to receive up to $1,250 in free dental care this year. In recent years we’ve learned so much about the connection between oral health and overall health and yet many older adults are without any type of dental insurance and may be forced to forgo dental care. To be eligible for this program, applicants must:
• Reside in Canyon, Gem, Payette or Washington Counties
• Be age 60 – 79
• Be independently mobile and able to travel to dental offices for treatment within 60 days of program acceptance.
Note: participating dentists are available in many communities so long commutes will not be required.
• Provide proof of income (federal income tax return or social security award statement or benefit letter)
• Meet household income limits (see attached application)
• Submit the application and be accepted into the program before May 29, 2015.
Covered services include:
• Cleanings,
• X-rays
• Some root canals
• Stainless steel crowns
• Extractions
• Dentures & denture repairs.
For any questions or an application call 1-866-894-3563.

HE LIVES
Last month I attended a memorial service for a cousin, he wrote his own obituary.
The first sentence said “This trail has ended, a little sooner than expected, but
none the less ended”. A little later he wrote about starting a new adventure. This
simple statement reminded me of what Easter is all about. Jesus defeated death
and rose from the grave. In the past year besides my dad I have lost an aunt and an
uncle and most recently this cousin. Because of their belief in Jesus as their Savior
they all embarked on the “new adventure.” Jesus blazed the trail for this “new
adventure”
when He defeated death with His resurrection. By accepting Him as our Savior we
will all be able to follow Him on this “new adventure”. Join us as we celebrate the
resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, this Sunday at the Ola Community Church.
HAPPY EASTER
