In a routine aerial check of the northern portions of Gem County, officers found marijuana plants growing in the back yard of a house off the Sweet/Ola Highway, according to Gem County Chief Deputy Donnie Wunder. Read more about the issue in the Sept. 7 print edition of the Messenger Index.
My sources tell me that about 24 mature plants were recovered in the vicinity of Sweet Lumber.
