Gem County dispatch tells us the fire was reported by an Idaho Power worker at 2:27 p.m. No word yet on the cause. Fire crews from Gem County, Star and the Bureau of Land Management are assisting. The fire is estimated to have burned between 75 and 100 acres, and is north of where Eagle Road turns into Willow Creek Road, near where the road intersects with Chapparal Road. There are several structure protection units on scene. No structures have been damaged at this time.
