...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING
TO 5 PM MST WEDNESDAY...
* SNOW AMOUNTS...3 TO 5 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS AND 5 TO 10 INCHES
IN THE MOUNTAINS.
* SNOW LEVELS...VALLEY FLOORS...RISING TO AROUND 4500 FEET IN THE
AFTERNOON.
* WINDS...SOUTH UP TO 10 MPH.
* IMPACTS...ROADS...INCLUDING U.S. HIGHWAY 95 AND IDAHO STATE
HIGHWAY 55...WILL BECOME SNOW-COVERED AND SLIPPERY.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL PRIMARILY CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
Have you ever used portable wind meters? I have when I was a student of meteorology.It's very useful and effective as well.
