STRONG WINTER STORM POSSIBLE LATE FRIDAY TO SATURDAY An Intense storm from the Northern Gulf of Alaska is Expected to Come Inland and Through Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho Friday Night and Saturday. The storm will Bring Heavy Snow to Mountain Areas, Especially Idaho Mountains North of the Snake River Basin. 4,000 Feet will Likely Have Rain Until the Storm/s Cold Front Comes Through, Frontal Passage Expected in Eastern Oregon Late Friday Night and Southwestern Idaho Before Sunrise Saturday. The Front May Bring Strong winds, a Period of Heavy Snow And Possibly Thunderstorms, Followed by Gusty West or Northwest winds, Colder Temperatures, and Continuing Snow Showers. Persons Planning Travel Friday and Saturday Should Keep Informed on the Development of this Storm. The National Weather Service will Continue to Monitor this storm As It Draws Closer.
