A Request for Prayer

In 1st Thessalonians Chapter 5 vs. 16-18 the Apostle Paul writes “Be joyful always, pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”.

Charlene and I have an anniversary this Sunday and it will be only the 3^rd time n 46 years that we won’t be able to spend it together.  Paul says “give thanks in all circumstances,” I do.  I give thanks and praise God for bringing me to Ola, Id.  I thank God for this community, the way it pulls together in adversity.  Not only are we going to separated by a thousand miles on our anniversary, we have some financial burdens looming.  I thank God because I can seek help from this community in the form of prayers.  I am a firm believer in the power of prayer and the more praying the louder the voice.  So I am asking for your prayers of support for Charlene and I.  Also I am asking along with myself we pray for John and Tracey.  It has been a slow winter for them and with the recent medical emergency with John’s dad they are also struggling to make ends meet, so please keep them in your prayers.  Like Paul say “pray continuously”.
