The Ola Rough Striders, your Relay For Life Team, thanks you for making this year a success. With your help we raised $4,177.62. There are 26 members on our team. If you would like to join, contact any team member or just come to a meeting.
Gem County raised $56,651.46 with 37 teams and a total of 334 team members. We came in third place this year in money raised. Walmart employees were first and Albertson's employees were second. Raising money is important but raising the awareness of cancer prevention and treatment are also stressed. Survivors are celebrated, caregivers are honored and those that lost their fight are remembered on Relay night.
This year's theme was "Finish The Fight". Relay For Life is a fund raising arm of the American Cancer Society. The majority of the money raised is for cancer research. Together we can make cancer a thing of the past. Thank you Ola!
