The Haunted Hall this year was terrific!!

The Trick or Treaters came out in large numbers. Attendance this year was the best so far. We had Spiderman, princesses, cowboys, a jellyfish, a clown and so many more creative costumes. Some of the Trick or Treaters even decided to be part of the Haunted Hall and scare the new ones going through. That was a lot of fun and created many laughs. Many thanks to the ladies that worked so hard to create this year's Haunted Hall.

. After the parade they will be having treats and prizes. You are welcomed to dress up and join the parade or just come and watch. It's always so much fun to see all the different costumes!!!!

I SEE LIGHT...

....yes, it's true. Although we will not be open this Friday night, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The kitchen floor was completed last night, now onto the dining room floor and last minute odds and ends. I trust you will find it was well worth the wait!

Early this afternoon a fire was reported up on Pine Creek. IDL was one of the responders. I'll post more when I know more.

I've started posting on the Ola Calendar link some of the upcoming events that will be happening in November and December. Check it out so you don't miss anything. Of course I'll be posting more detailed info closer to the actual date.

Last night the Sheriff sped through Ola responding to an accident north of town. A white van slid off Second Fork by Blessinger's corrals. No report of injures.

I brought Marvin home from the hospital this afternoon. The doctors indicate that he will make a full recovery. Great news!! Thank you so much for your concern and support!! It means the world to both Marvin and me!

THERE WILL BE NO FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER.......

........we are working very hard to finish the Inn. In the meantime, save your appetite for the Harvest Dinner on Saturday.

HARVEST DINNER this Saturday, 12:00PM at the Ola Community Center. There will be Model A's, Model T's, the Corvette Club, so much to see and lots of food to eat. This always proves to be a fun afternoon. The forecast looks good, so come and enjoy the old cars. Salads and desserts needed.

FORMER OLA SCHOOL TEACHER REUNITES WITH STUDENTS

Fran Robinson Hunter visited Ola for the first in many years on Tuesday. Fran was a teacher at Ola in 1947. Tuesday, a small luncheon was put together for her so that her former students and her could reminisce about times past.
