SPRING CONCERT 2012

Saturday at the Ola Hall, Gloria's private lesson students put on a beautiful concert.  We enjoyed music from the piano and the guitar.  We also enjoyed the beautiful voice of Marcelena accompanied by her children.  Kate and her dad, Weston played a duet on the piano.  It was so much fun to hear the progress these students made from last year.  The students did an outstanding job as the very proud Mrs. Sutton listened from the front row.  We also had the pleasure of hearing Judie McCaulou, the special guest, play the piano.  She had us tapping our feet ready to get up and dance. Another special treat was hearing Gloria play and beautiful it was. The Spring Concert is such a nice event, I look forward to next year's.  Thank you Gloria and the private lesson students!!

To all of the Mothers
Have A Great Day!!!
‎"A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts." ~ Washington Irving

FRACTURED FAIRY TALES....

...was this year's May Day program put on by the children at the Ola Elementary School.  What is a fractured fairy tale?  In fractured fairy tales, the original is changed in some way, whether it be point of view, plot, character(s), sequel, setting or combining of tales.  The program was absolutely delightful.  It was apparent that the children really enjoyed their parts in the program!

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS....

Thoughts and prayers for John Miller.  John was admitted into Walter Knox Memorial Hospital Monday and today was transferred to St. Al's in Boise.  He is expected to have surgery either tonight or in the morning for a bowel obstruction.

**UPDATE**After 7 hours of surgery yesterday, John is doing much better.  He will remain in the hospital for a few more days.

IMPORTANCE OF LIFE FLIGHT INSURANCE

As you know life can change in a second.  This weekend we had two accidents close to Ola.  In both cases an air ambulance was called to transport the injured.  I do not know if either men had Life Flight Insurance, I do know that if they did not their cost of transport was very high.  Not only do they have the recovery of their injuries to worry about but the financial burden if they were not insured.  A yearly membership for Air St. Luke's is $60.00 and Life Flight is $60.00.  As Marvin and I found out a couple of years ago, it's worth every penny!  If you haven't already, click on either one and sign up today!

Wednesday, May 2

MISSING GOAT!!

The Miller's are missing their goat. If you happen to see a goat wandering, give me a call and I'll try to catch it. Kim--584-9030 This goat could be anywhere, but most likely High Valley Road/Timber Flat area.
